Ben performed a training session on how to use the chainsaw. He took them step by step on maintenance and usage. Each of the 5 men responsible to use the saw had a chance to cut with it as well as start it. Deena and Darwin have communicated that they are not prepared for chainsaw injuries.

Hillcrest Church and Falls Community Church have joined together to bring the Gospel as well as humanitarian aid to a remote village in Southern Sudan. The people of Southern Sudan have been devastated by the long civil war and genocide over religious freedom. Food security is the most important need in the area we are traveling to. We are going to help the village of Kalalayi build a farm that can sustain the village and produce enough extra as to sell in the local markets.

I figured you guys would be anxious for a chance to sew some parts back on. Hi to everyone, especially Deena. I love you and miss you. So does Poopers.
ReplyDeleteSeeing Ben with this sharp of an object makes me slightly scared myself. Amazing how chainsaws can make it through customs but they take my lotion away. Not that I'm bitter or anything.....
