We have arrived in Kijabe to the ENT House. A hot meal was waiting for us, soft beds, 70 degree temp, hot showers and NO DIRT!
This is heaven!

Hillcrest Church and Falls Community Church have joined together to bring the Gospel as well as humanitarian aid to a remote village in Southern Sudan. The people of Southern Sudan have been devastated by the long civil war and genocide over religious freedom. Food security is the most important need in the area we are traveling to. We are going to help the village of Kalalayi build a farm that can sustain the village and produce enough extra as to sell in the local markets.

I guess we should bring overcoats to the S.F. airport,it's about 20 degrees here and we have snow. I'm so glad my wife will be home soon. I love you Cheri, I am missing you, two more days.
ReplyDeleteTrust me when I say you will all feel like you're millionaires once you're back at your homes in Sioux Falls and think back on all you've seen, done, experienced, eaten, and so on. I'm so glad you've all had the chances you've had and you've been able to see God in a whole different light than most of us Americans. Have an awesome flight home. Walk. Stretch often. Drink plenty of water. And prepare for the wind chills....
ReplyDeleteYAY !!! Almost home :) Hope you get those Fries in Amsterdam!
