Change of plans

We landed in Juba and I was immediately detained by a scary man with tribal scars in his face. He confiscated my phone and started deleting pictures from it because he thought I was spying on them! What!? So this post has no photo.

Flexibility is our plan and that's good. It rained a downpour all day yesterday and the road to Mundri is so bad it is going to take 5-6 hours to drive it. As a result, we need to stay tonight in Juba. Elisapa, Julius' father, found a place for $70 that includes food! It's called the White Nile Lodge.

Flexibility!

  1. You do look rather "spy-ish" so I can understand his reasoning for wanting to delete hand puppets from your phone. And he must have been really scary if he scared you.....just saying....

  2. Well, you ARE scary looking. Okay but seriously - praying for your safety! Be smart little bro, I love you much. ("little bro" this makes me laugh everytime because you could take me out with your pinky toe)
