My mango branch toothbrush

Every morning, Joseph and I make our toothbrushes together. You take a branch from the mango tree about as round as your little finger. Then you peal the bark away to reveal the soft pulpy wood underneath. You chew the end until it frays and becomes like a bristle. Then you rub/brush your teeth with it. Apparently you can make a paste from ash, salt and red brick to aid in brushing. Though I'm not interested in trading in my Colgate, I do enjoy this alternative trick.
