This afternoon we settled into our rooms and pulled up some chairs by the nile. Here's a picture of me, Elisapa (Julius' father), Julius and his sister. They haven't seen each other for 10 years!
We are waiting for our supper that is being prepared now. Ben is off getting Sudan street cell phones at the market. Our 25 passenger bus is apparently fixed and on its way. If it shows up we will go shopping for groceries after supper.
It was really hot today and now a beautiful breeze is blowing, the air is cooling down and the moon is almost full over the White Nile.

Hillcrest Church and Falls Community Church have joined together to bring the Gospel as well as humanitarian aid to a remote village in Southern Sudan. The people of Southern Sudan have been devastated by the long civil war and genocide over religious freedom. Food security is the most important need in the area we are traveling to. We are going to help the village of Kalalayi build a farm that can sustain the village and produce enough extra as to sell in the local markets.
